Elkia Smith -Founder

 

Elkia Smith, with over fifteen years of financial expertise at organizations like DHL, Bacardi, and Liberty Global Communications, currently leads financial excellence in a prominent managed services provider. Known for her comprehensive financial skills, she integrates diverse data for effective decision-making. A Howard University graduate in International Business and Finance, Elkia, born in Jamaica, is the first in her family to earn a college degree. After a transformative journey, she settled in Miami, contributing her financial acumen to various industries. Despite a life-altering accident, Elkia founded the Elkia Foundation, dedicated to creating ripples of change in the world.


The Elkia Foundation is devoted to changing the world one ripple at a time, following the words of Mother Teresa who famously stated, “I alone cannot change the world, but I can toss a stone across the rivers to make many ripples. “
